We utilize Pantheon mostly as a serverless CMS. We wanted an easily scalable solution for several of our sites with low overhead and the flexibility to increase usage if the need arose. Pantheon has met this need, while also providing an excellent platform to manage our company's agile workflows seamlessly.
- Support is excellent if you run into any issues
- The platform is fast with no lag time
- The solution is low-overhead (serverless!)
- The platform has trouble with large amounts of data hitting all at once.
- The trade-off to being serverless is that if there are issues, it is harder to investigate the issue.

Complete and managed hosting to improve online presence
Pantheon is being used at our organization by developers for improved online presence, better publication of contents, switch on automatic updates, parallel management and to get the most out of hosting. It really makes things related to the hosting very easy and well managed. It also helps by keeping easy to restore [a] backup of everything.

A Pantheon Review That Needs No Witty Title
We develop enterprise level websites on Drupal 8 for multiple companies with Pantheon. We also use Pantheon to host a large number of small campaign sites, also on Drupal 8. It provides us with a convenient portal to administrate a large number of sites. It allows us to transfer ownership over to a customer after delivery. It also has a CLI interface to greatly help with creation/deployment and continuous integration.
- Their CLI product Terminus.
- Ease of creating projects and multiple branch/dev environments within.
- Better generic support/documentation on CI platforms other than the Pantheon preferred platform.
- More resources on instances. Module updates can fail on install/update due to the server running out of memory. Only options are to upgrade services, or build the core site external to Pantheon and then import back into the Pantheon environment. The latter part is a detriment to customers/users that are not more savvy than installing modules through the GUI.

A great hosting platform for WordPress and Drupal
We use Pantheon to host a Drupal application. It is used by a specific department for a specific purpose. Pantheon basically provides us a platform with a dev, test and live environment and since we often have to make code level changes in the application, it makes it easier for us to test, manage and maintain the codebase and the database.
- Easy to configure, install, and deploy websites and web application.
- Easy to switch between dev, test and live environment.
- Good user experience.
- Great support staffs.
- I feel very comfortable using the platform. They've done a great job putting it together. I can't think of any situation where it was difficult to perform any task.
